Brecks yard

Art has been an essential part of defining who we are and the nature of our evolving habitat for thousands of years.  The presence of art and artefacts in our homes has continued to provide a profound and everyday means by which we understand what it is to be human while sustaining our sense of well-being. This recognises that however modest our individual engagement is in this process, it remains a primary means of expressing our identity, understanding the identity of others and our place in the world.

These thoughts have found a purpose in combining Art with the home in the form of a creative living space—Brecks Yard. This goes beyond surface decoration; it is a search for a deeper and more rewarding relationship with the objects within a domestic space. These ideas have provided the focus for the project at Brecks Yard; a personal world relating to the activities and interests of Creative Entrepreneur, Ian Chance.
